This is a sculpture I did for another exhibition in my home town, this time with a religious theme.
It represents a pregnant Mary.
I chose the color blue 'cause it's considered the color symbol of Mary herself, usually with the white.
Someone told me that it was a bit unsettling but I wanted to show one of her joy of life: a son in her womb
However the title refers on the sad ending of the story...
Wire, masking tape, glue, toilet paper and acrylic (papier-mache) on a plywood base.
